Rhydon by x-Edu Rhydon by x-Edu
This is my favorite pokemon the first generation. Too bad the games most of the damage was super effective for him. Unaffected by water, plant, soil, steel, ice fight. They must do type steel.
Rhydon, Horn Drill!

Pixel Practice # 7

Este pokemon es mi favorito de la primera generación. Lástima que en los juegos la mayoría de los daños eran super efectivos para él. Le afecta el agua, planta, tierra, acero, hielo, lucha. Debieron hacerlo tipo acero.
¡Rhydon, cuerno taladro!!

What do you mean "Unaffected by water, plant, soil, steel, ice fight. They must do type steel."?

Very nice and simple.
I'm curious to see if this would look a little better with coloured outline (rather then black) and with a small amount of dithering...
You could also try a white outline around the piece.

I really like the animation though, it really adds to the piece and makes it something special~

Hi, thanks for your observation.
I will try to see if antialiasing the edges are softer. I thought that using smooth pixels was cheating, but I see it is normal.
I'll try with a white outline. But only still images, because in animation might seem like a stamp. ;)

Yes, that would look really nice, good idea!
The white outline is mostly just to make it stand out from the background really. I wouldn't say it'd look like a stamp if animated, but it might be more work if the animation is something very busy x)

See? no white outline because it is animated and looks very clean. I do not see the edges smooth. And it highlights a lot.
When I saw this animation without antialiasing thought it was better to work without antialiasing. But I'll take your advice into account. =)

True, it works well here. I'm just suggesting that you experiment is all. See if it works, if not, don't use it. It really just depends on the piece and your style x)
